The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, Macau & China |
In 2001, The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, Macau & China (CMA) agreed to donate in the academic year 2002-2003, a sum of HK$20,000, for the award of scholarships to students undertaking studies in Recreation and Sports Management at the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE), University of Hong Kong.
The scholarships shall be awarded under the following conditions:

The scholarships shall be known as The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, Macau & China Scholarships. |
| • |
The scholarships shall be of the value of HK$10,000 each to be awarded to two students undertaking full-time / part-time studies in SPACE in Recreation and Sports Management programmes. |
| • |
The scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit as shown in the latest assessment results in not less than 4 modules. |
| • |
Recipients must have undertaken research on topics related to Club Management, or have held work placement(s) within the club industry. |
| • |
To provide assistance to educational institutions and to students interested in the Club management profession. |

In 2001, The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, Macau & China (CMA) agreed to donate in the academic year 2002-2003, a sum of HK$20,000, for the award of scholarships to students undertaking studies in Hotel and Catering Management at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE Chai Wan).
The scholarships shall be awarded under the following conditions:

The scholarships shall be known as The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, Macau & China Scholarships. |
| • |
The scholarships shall be of the value of HK$10,000 each to be awarded to two students undertaking full-time degree studies in Higher Diploma in Hotel Management programmes. |
| • |
Students entering this competition will be expected to illustrate their interest in Catering in general and Club Management specifically by virtue of subjects studied (e.g. electives in catering subjects such as Special Events Catering) and academic achievement in such subjects. |
| • |
Students are required to have hold work placement(s) within the club industry before, or during, their studies. |
| • |
In cases of a close decision, then academic performance overall should be used as the deciding factor. When candidates are judged to be of insufficient merit, no award shall be made. |
